We know that vegetables are good for us…but they are fun to print with too!

We gathered together some vegetables

And started to print…

We made some very colourful and interesting shapes and prints..

And as usual we got really messy!

We enjoyed making our Chinese New Year cards and pictures

We listened to some lovely Chinese music as we coloured

It is the year of the Cockerel who has beautiful coloured feathers…

We loved using bright colours too!

Later on we touched those bright colours as we played with the water beads!

We Love messy play…and spaghetti play is our favourite…

We fill the tuff tray with lots of cooked spaghetti…

Spaghetti is such fun to play with! And to taste…

We added some paint…and the really messy bit began…

We squidged it together!

We squidged it on our own…

We filled pots up…

We made lots of swirly patterns…

And made some very interesting pictures…

We made sure we washed our hands with lots of lovely warm soapy water…

Every January we think of our friends the birds and we make them delicious birdy cakes…

We gather our ingredients together…

We melt the fat very carefully in a bowl…

We add the seeds and berries and give the mixture a good stir…

Then we spoon it into the yogurt pots…leave it to set in the fridge…

we see lots of shapes and structures when we are out and about too…

we love to count! we count lots of things…we count chickens…blackberries in the woods…steps…legs on a giant scary spider…our homemade cakes…shells at the seaside…daisies..swans swimming…apples floating…

the possibilities are endless and we use them every day!

 Merry Christmas 2016

We love Christmas…We always dress the crib at the beginning of Advent and fill the Advent cupboard with chocolates…

We look forward to making our Christingles every year and going to the service at St Johns Church in the village…

This year we have coloured in a huge Christmas TreeAnd enjoyed making lots of Christmas crafts..

 There was lots of glitter and lots of mess!

There was some quiet times…Reading and colouring…we went on a crisp winter walk and visited our four legged friends on the heath…We decorated some reindeer biscuits…And made some beautiful nativity pictures…We had a special Christmas book box…yes Christmas at Nannie Lee’s house is a special time…

Looking forward to lots more adventures in 2017!

It was time to wrap up warmly and chase away those winter blues with a walk in the grounds of Norton Priory

We think that this was a squirrels house…but he wasn’t at home…We found an amazing adventure playground made out of fallen trees and tree trunks!It was great fun to climb up to the high platform…It seemed a long way down!Climbing down was tricky…but we made it!with a helping hand!

We spent a lovely afternoon at Norton Priory Walled Garden we found lots of signs of Spring too

We looked inside the bug house…we think the insects were still asleep…

There is lots of room to run and explore this beautiful place.

We walked along the rose terrace

We found clumps of snowdrops and the daffodils were just peeping out…

We heard lots of birdsong and spotted a blackbird with some twigs in his beak to make his cosy nest…
