Our local cathedral is Chester…we decided to go and explore…

We found an eagle…he looked very grand…nannie Lee explained that the bible rests on his wings…

We did some colouring in the children’s chapel…

We found a lovely prayer tree

There was a beautiful banner in the chapel of Jesus and His mummy…she is giving Him a lovely cuddle…we like cuddles too!

We had our lunch in the cloister garden…

In the garden is an old well…with a beautiful statue…this statue tells the story of Jesus and a lady at a well…

We saw some beautiful stained glass windows…

The cathedral was very big…we had to use a map to find our way around…

We didn’t see Bishop Peter who is in charge…but nannie Lee has met him quite a few times…he is very nice…

We really enjoyed our day…we liked running around the cloisters best!
