We planned an exciting trip on the Mersey Ferry…the weather though was very wet 

but that didn’t dampen our spirits...

Her name was The Royal Iris…she is a very old ferry Nannie Lee used to sail on her when she was a little girl…

We ran down the steep gang plank…
