The day was crisp and cold so we went for a forage  on The Heath to see what Autumn Treasures we could find…

It was such a beautiful day…but we wrapped up warm…

We found some tiny leaves…

…and some large leaves…

There were lots of leaves on the floor which were fun to scrunch and kick!

We walked further into the woods…

We found some pinecones and put them into our pockets to take home…

We found a quarry truck and some information…

It was fun to explore…

On the way home we passed our favourite tree…it looked really beautiful…natures treasure…

When we got home…our pinecones  opened by the warmth of the fire…ready to use  for some winter crafting…
