Our beautiful leaf crowns…

As we walked through the village last week we found some beautiful leaves on the ground…

we looked up and found that they were from a Maple Tree beside the footpath…

The leaves had turned yellow, brown and red…we picked up lots and took them home to make Maple Leaf Crowns…

Our gorgeous crowns were ready to wear!

When we arrived home Nannie Lee found her Maple Leaf brooch that her aunty had given her over 40 years before…

Her auntie lived in Canada and the Maple Leaf is the symbol of that Country…

We found some pictures of Maple Trees growing in Canada in the fall….aren’t they beautiful?
