Norton Priory

Norton Priory is a wonderful place to visit and we made it our special ‘day out’ these school holidays

The weather  didn’t look to good but we knew that there would be something for us to do… so we packed the cars and our picnics and headed off to this magical place

We made bee head bands and learnt about all the different types of bees…were there really so many?

Then we planted some seeds in some clever pots made of newspaper

We love planting seeds!

Can you see our lovely headbands?

Bee’s and bug’s need a litle house to live in so we made some of those too…

It was fun choosing our bamboo…it will keep the bee’s and bug’s safe and warm…

We made some gorgeous flowers and stuck them onto a garden display…

After lunch in the undercroft we watched the rain and then we had a look around the museum…

We put the skeleton together…

 we did some brass rubbings…

Then it was off to the Walled Garden…
